My name is Justin (aka) D.j.Just1nsane and I am writing to tell you about myself. I remember when i first went to my grandpa's he had a old piano and I would play it till they made me stop because I played it to fast and tried to make up my own rhythms and melodies. they said it sounded good I just need to slow down and play songs from the book..... Thats when I knew I was a rebel. I did't like rock or pop or country. I listened to rap and hip-hop but only cuz the bass. I had a car sub hooked up in my room and cut down all the hi's so i could hear mostly bass. The funny thing is I had no idea what techno was at the time. I love bass but the rap thing wasn't doing the job I needed more bass, better lyrics, and faster song construction. I was stuck with the rap shit til i was 17. My friends Edgar Carresquillo, Chris Mazatini(MAZR), and some krazy dressed girls took me to the ELECTRIC DAISY CARNIVAL 2005 at the NOS EVENT CENTER. I remember them talking about all the way there. I kept asking what a rave was and why do they call it that. They kept on saying''just wait till we get there then u will understand''. In my head I thought'' this is going to be lame I shouldn't have let them talk me in to this". But when we got there and could hear BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM loud and low from were we parked. The bass got louder as we got closer."What the fuk kinda music is that"I asked Edgar. He said "Thats techno mother fuker. what u don't like it?" I said" I never heard of techno till right now, and its fukin amazing. fast paced tempo and sick basslines, its ecxzactily what i wasn't getting out of rap. this shit is sick." And when I seen the D..J. on the stage mixing sick shit,I knew that I had found my passion. I quit listening or caring for any other style of music and did whatever i could to get tracks and learn about all the different styles of techno. I told everyone i was going to be a sick ass D.J. and most doubted me and told me its to hard to make it as a D.J. and that i didn't have the skills to make a party jump. HAHAHAHAHAHA that only my passion stronger, and at first all i wanted to do was prove them wrong, and i did for a while, but all that just brought me a lot of drama and hard times. But know that I have had time to grow and learn from my mistakes. I know that I don't have to prove shit to no-one. I know my music is sick and I throw down some sick ass sets every time I touch the turntables. So i just focus my mind on music,money and moving forward,leaving the drama 2 all the haters.
